I som vanligt denna vecka strålande väder samlades ett tiotal bilar för att göra en utfärd till Halland och Ullared. Anförda av Lars-Åke Moreau, för dagen iförd Aston-Martin DB2 (-6?) men kanske med en Lotus i knapphålet, körde vi fantastiska småvägar i lagom tempo och anlände till Ullared i lagom tid för att hinna med både Göran Karlssons bilmuseum och i mitt fall en snabbvisit till ett stort varuhus i närheten för att införskaffa prydnadskuddar med Engelskt flaggmotiv som jag ryktesvägen hört skulle finnas där.
Efter museébesöket åkte en del till Glommen för att äta.
Jag var tyvärr inte med. Jag hann dock med en snabbtitt på Grimetons Radiostation på vägen hem.

The last day of British Car Week this year was a succeess with the same beautiful weather as the rest of the week. We made a trip through Halland to Ullared, coutesy of Lars-Åke Moreau of the Aston Martin Club and the Lotus Club. This special day he was driving an Aston Martin, but had a pin from the Lotus clug on his jacket.
Lars-Åke led os on fantastic small roads through Halland in a relaxed mode and we arrived at Ullared in due time to see both the car museum and to explore the big shops around.
After visiting the museum most of the group went on for kunch in the small fishermans village Glommen.
Myself I had to hurry back home to Gothenburg, but managed to stop by the Grimmeton Radio Transmitting Museum to get some pictures of the old antennas there.
